Clinical Supervision
"Human beings are capable of being educated only to the extent that they can recognize themselves as unfinished."
— Paulo Freire
Clinical supervision is a reflective space for learning and professional growth. I invite mental health professionals to engage in a collaborative environment where we examine cases, navigate complexity, and strengthen therapeutic skills.
I began my professional journey as a pediatric physical therapist, gaining a deep understanding of development, embodiment, and relational dynamics. Building on that foundation, I earned a master’s degree in psychology from Argosy University (2010), completed the CAPP program (2015), and psychoanalytic training (2022) at the ICP+P Institute in Washington, DC. I have worked at the Lourie Center since 2013, maintain a private practice in Woodley Park, DC.
My supervision approach is grounded in Relational and Self Psychology and contemporary psychoanalytic perspectives, integrating awareness of gender, culture, ethnicity, race, power, migration, and class. I provide a collaborative, reflective space where clinicians can explore transference and countertransference, patients’ developmental needs, relational patterns, and the social, cultural, and technological contexts that shape therapy.
