Individual Therapy
Suffering can feel overwhelming, your body tired, your mind heavy from life’s challenges like loss, illness, parenting, divorce, migration, or uncertainty. But these wounds can also be the doorway to healing and growth.
I invite you to explore those difficult places with compassion and courage, helping you find strength and light through the pain.
“The wound is the place where the light enters you.”
— Rumi
My therapeutic approach is grounded in Relational and Self Psychology and other contemporary psychoanalytic perspectives that thoughtfully engage with issues of gender, culture, ethnicity, race, power, and class. I aim to create a genuine, emotionally attuned relationship where we can safely explore personal challenges, ranging from anxiety, depression, grief, and mourning to relational conflicts and the broader sociocultural context that shapes our lives.
Depending on your needs and preferences, you may choose between psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Both modalities are rooted in the same foundational principles; the key difference lies in frequency. Psychodynamic psychotherapy typically involves one to two sessions per week, while psychoanalysis is more intensive, with three to four sessions per week. I offer both in-person and remote sessions to suit your circumstances.
